Wieder ist eine jamaikanische Legende von uns gegangen: Lloyd Robinson.
Lloyd begann seine Kariere Anfang der 60er Jahre als Mitglied der Vokalgruppe the Mellow Larks und hatte dann als Solosänger und im Duett mit Glen Brown oder Devon Russel etliche Hits in der jamaikanischen Hitparade. Am 5. November starb Lloyd Robinson im Alter von 69 Jahren.

Am 11. September starb der jamaikanische Roots-DeeJay und Plattenproduzent Prince Jazzbo im Alter von nur 62 Jahren.
Die Global Beatbox am 10. Oktober mit Peter Roth widmet sich der Musik von Prince Jazzbo, von seinen Anfängen im Studio One über seine Zeit in Lee Perry´s Black Ark Studio bis zu seinen digitalen Dancehall Produktionen.
